Question : How can you approach a co-worker about their bad breath and body ordor?
I have this co-worker that smells bad and we do not know how to approach her. So we say nothing. We drops hints, like people need to take showers b/c the chair is starting to smell, but we still have this problem. I use fabric freshner for the chair, but nothing seems to help. We asked her best friend to speak to her and she said that she has been saying something too her, but it does'nt help. What should we do?

It would seem u have two alternatives left, either type her a note and leave it on her desk or where she can see it and gently explain that her co- workers find her hygiene objectable and they r concerned that she may have a health issue that is the cause. or go to ur manager as a group and explain to him/her of the problem. If it is some sort of health problem, she needs to have it checked, if it`s simply lack of personal hygiene then a gentle nudge might do the trick. Working in that environment for 8 hrs a day must get very unpleasant and steps need to be taken. But, tact and kindness is utmost.

Well I know you can rent them. I went on ebay and the guy on there wanted for the buyer to pick them up. He lives to far away. It has also been call a vintage high back chair.

Most don't like playing games at showers... I was going to have nice fall flower arrangements decorating the tables, and put a tag on the bottom of 4 or 5 lucky chairs for the prizes. We rented a facility and will have good food for all invited. We will probably play just one game. We have cake and punch and the baby is due early November. We will have light decorations also. Is this fine?
Answer:
I would play one more game like baby bingo. You give each guest a bingo card and have them wright down what they think the mommy is going to get. If she opens say a bottle and you have it on your card you mark it off one time. Once someone gets 4 in the row they yell bingo and they get a prize. I would also have some cookies and sandwiches for the guest to munch on.

I would decorate the chair. That's what I did when I threw a shower for my sister. We called it the "guest of honor" chair". We tied a few balloons to the back of the chair and put two pink bows on the arms.

I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend. I asked her to go online and register for some gifts.
We're young (I'm 21, she is 23) and this is the first babyshower in our circle of friends.
What kind of things is it okay to register for. Baby-room furniture should be bought by mom and dad right? Like the crib and changing table? Those are pretty big things.
Is it okay to register for semi-big things like a stroller/high-chair/car seat?? Or are those aslo too big?

Tell her to register for what she wants. A registry isn't telling people that's what they HAVE to get for you, just an idea. Also, many people will go in together on bigger items. It won't hurt to put the crib, etc. on the registry. If she doesn't get it at the shower then she will just have to buy it. If she doesn't register for something then she doesn't have the chance of getting it as a gift. Also, at Babies R Us and Target they will give you 10% off whatever you registered for but didn't get when the baby is born.

Question : What color should I paint my bathroom?
Very small (60 sf). Lots of travertine tile (on floor, in shower on chair rail) and black granite. Vanity and cabinet are in an espresso (dark, dark brown almost black) finish. I want a monochormatic look -- lighter shade above chair rail, darker below. My initial thought was a brown, but now I'm leaning towards green -- like an olive-ish green. White trim/ceiling.
Any thoughts?

actually, the green sounds great! I am partial to greens and blues though! You could also do a beige or light color paint and sponge another color on it!

Definitely get a grabber so that you can reach things easier. Get a chair cushion, use chairs with arms, a commode, a walker and a cane. Place things in your house so that you do not have to bend to reach them. Shower chairs or hand held showers are good too.
